Note that all masks of this type are routinely made with synthetic hair, which is accessible and cheap. It is with some hardship that my mask maker finds some woman who will sell her hair. Obviously in the past all of this type of mask was made with human hair. Mask was formed by nailing wet leather to a heavy wooden mould.
