Wood and oil paint.  Cord used to fasten mask to face still attached.  

Final quarter of 20th Century.

Note:  Mask was acquired in 2009.  According to the previous owner it was last re-painted 6-7 years ago.  Approximately 15+/- years old.  The vendor of the mask now performs without a mask as he is  the Pitero.  The Pitero is the person who accompanies the Tlacololeros playing a flute and drum.
